So Holy Hell!!!!
2 stories.
I was at the Social Security Building, which is pure hell anyways... I had to wait almost 2 hours too be seen and its just chairs and hard floors! 20 minutes in the girls were done! I tried my hardest too keep them happy and entertained but it really wasn't working and then some women that works there coame up to me and said "umm we have guests could you please control your children!" I was in shock! Tears came up immediately but I manage to say some biting remark and get done with it!!

Then later that day, I was at Maverick and ran into pre pay for my gas, I could see my car the whole time, I was in the gas station for 30 sec tops! And some Lady is standing by my car i come up too it and she says "what kind of mother are you, to leave your kids alone in a car" Again Shock!

When did women think it was okay to judge another mother instead of maybe helping her out! You think its better to bitch her out and say she's a bad mother then too, offer to hold a crazy child, or maybe just keep your eye on the car for her!! Geez! I really want to slap some women for forgetting what its like to have small children or thinking its okay too tell her to control her children!!!

Anyways Mothers day was good went and visited the Family and the Clydesdale's and swung by the Case's! Morgan gave Reese this little white tiger and she loves it!!!

Halle and Nixon are at the same stages of development, so cute to watch them walk around. Well nixon is doing great. Halle is still wobbling and crawling.
Cody and Nix
Hansens ;)
So cute!!!
We missed you Tomas.

Tomas is doing good here are some pictures of the Happenings in California!

It has worked out really nice! Anyways we went into eat with Melinda and her super sweet husband Brandon and then hit the town! Good Times...

I've had the same things happen to me! Crazy, memories came floading back while I read your post. I also on a cool spring day (before we moved) left my kids in the car seriously 30 secs and got cussed out by this guy in the parking lot. Of course I didnt think of anything good to say back until I was driving away. Then once while at a park I've had other parents run up to my kids all frantic like they were going to fall or something then look back at me like are you watching your kids. Obviously I know what my kids are capable of and I don't feel the need to have my hand on them every second at the park! Anywho...I had like 3 different comments about my parenting skills in one week. it was crazy and by the end of the week I was so mad! People need to mind there own business.
Sorry you had to experience the same thing its definitly not pleasant!

I HATE it when people do things like that. They don't know the situation and people used to ONLY prepay for their gas so they HAD to leave their kids in the car and nobody thought anything of it. I use to think people that did drive thrus, like for food or the bank or anything were just super fat lazy people. Now I realize most of them are probably parents!! Crazy how your perspective on things changes once you have kids.

I also have had the same situation even at the social security office to get a new SSC for Caleb that I lost. I sat in there for 2 1/2 hours with Caleb and Claire. Claire was tiny and was so hungry and I couldn't feed her in public so she just cried. Someone came up to me and told me if I couldn't keep my kids quiet I needed to come back another time when they weren't with me!! Do they really think that moms WANT to take their kids to places like that. Yes I LOVE taking my kids to sit in a cold ugly building for two hours and I love the feeling of being completely humiliated and almost in tears whenever someone glares at me from across the room. I was so angry. Why don't they instead of judging you or kicking you out why don't they butt you through the line and hurry and get you through. No one would be against letting the mom with noisy kids go ahead of them so they can get out there. That way everyone is waiting only a couple of extra minutes more but at least it is in quiet. People are not very considerate of families now. I know parents need to try hard to discipline and keep their kids quiet but you can only do so much when there is nothing but chairs and hardwood floors around you.

Annoying judgemental people need to leave moms alone, we are already too hard on ourselves you don't have to bash on us or remind us of how noisy we are!!! WE KNOW!!

I'm so sorry!!! I have two little girls that are almost exactly a year a part. It's so hard! I can't go anywhere. And when you do they are always bad. I have gotten that so many times myself. Seriously what do people want you to do? If you really start getting on there case you are being to harsh of a mother, if you don't you can't control your children. Good hell! It's so annoying to me that people have the nerve. Kids are going to be kids! So sorry! I feel for ya!

I totally feel ya! Sydney was throwing an out of control tantrum in the hair store the other day so I put her in the car so she could scream it out and two ladies were ready to chew me out! I hate it, why can't people just shut it!

You totally should've smacked them. I would like to read, actually, I would like to see that happen... I know, you can't really do that, but I've had things like that happen to me. I thought it was just an east coast thing, but I'm sorry it's not. I used to tell people that confronted me that if my husband wasn't overseas protecting their way of life here, then I wouldn't have to haul my screaming refluxing baby into others' quiet worlds. People probably thought I was crazy, but I felt better. Good luck!

Seriously, why can't people mind their own business! It's always the ones who think their children are so perfect and don't have their bad days in public! Don't worry about it, we all have those moments especially with kids! Love the pics of Tomas....I hope you and the girls are hangin in there!

To my beautiful #1 baby Jayci Dawn,
If you don't want people to say rude things at the gas station, here's a solution...When my precious grandbabies are in the car, DON'T FORGET THE DEBIT CARD!! Love always,

Your Mom

Someone once called the police on me for leaving my kids in the car. Funny thing is, it was a cooler spring day and I was standing behind the car next to them with my eyes on them the whole time. I was kind of mad.

The other day at costco I left my kids in the cart right outside the "cold section" because they hate going in there since it is freezing. But I just needed to grab some cucumbers so I was in and out in 10 seconds. Anyway, this cute little old lady motioned for my attention and said with a smile, "I kept an eye on your boys for you." I thought that was so sweet, even though I was only 10 feet away and watching them the whole time. More people should be like her!
